I sing tenor in the DuPage Chorale, based at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, IL. Our next concert will be held there on Sunday evening December 3rd at 7:00 pm. The theme of the concert is German Romantic composers, featuring works by Beethoven, Schubert, and Brahms.
The DuPage Chorale is a large community chorus performing choral concerts, often in conjunction with a professional orchestra. Repertoire includes standard choral works by Bach, Handel, Mozart and Brahms, as well as, modern masterpieces by Orff, Poulenc, Stravinsky and others. No audition necessary for membership. Adult singers of all voice types and ages are welcome.
About the Director: Lee R. Kesselman has been the director of Choral Activities at COD since 1981. Conductor, pianist, teacher and award-winning composer, he directs the DuPage Chorale, New Classic Singers, Chamber Singers and Concert Choir. He serves as Director of Choral Activities at College of DuPage. William Buhr is the accompanist.
